JHU Libraries and Services

Research is a key component to every student's work at the School of Education, and we are thrilled to offer our students some of the best library resources in the country.

Liz Johns is the Librarian for Education and is your go-to person for any questions related to the library, research, and information.  Liz is available to support students online, and in person in Baltimore at the Milton S. Eisenhower Library or the Education Building.  Liz can also connect you with in-person support at each of the JHU regional libraries.  Email Liz at emjohns@jhu.edu.

Education students have access to all library resources in Baltimore at the Eisenhower Library on the Homewood campus, as well as at any of JHU's regional libraries, whether they take classes in person or online.  More information about the Washington DC, Montgomery County and Columbia Center campus libraries is listed here.

Remote Access

Johns Hopkins University offers remote access services to university library resources via a proxy server. When you encounter the proxy server, you simply enter your JHED ID and password.

You may also access library resources remotely by logging into the Portal at my.jhu.edu and selecting the ”Library” tab.

Technical assistance is available from the Hopkins computer support staff at help@jhu.edu or 410-516-HELP (4357).
